Your child's privacy is very important to me. Some of the ways I'll use technology with your students require and extra  permission form. To access the form, just click on the logo.

** For teachers ** these forms (except GlipGrid) have been proof read and accepted by a number of different principals of schools I've had taught at. At the time of writing this, our school board does not have a standard form for using these sites. Please have your own admin check your own permission form.
YouTube will be used to post videos of activities we do in class. The videos are stored on my YouTube channel Teaching Smarter.

Twitter will be used to post pictures and videos of activities we do in class. Please 'follow' me @TeachingSmarter to get the updates!

Skype will be used in class to stream in guest speakers and other classrooms from around the world. This is a proven favourite in my classroom, getting students 'Hyped with Skype'. Click here for more info.
Remind will be used to share reminders, homework, and announcements. I will also be sharing pictures of activities we do in class.
Click here for more details about our class Remind account.
FlipGrid will be used for students to share short video responses on the internet via the FlipGrid platform. These videos will frequently be shared within our classroom community, but will occasionally be shared with other classes in other schools. Students in other schools will be able to respond with video and text.
